HG Graphics have helped Chesterfield based Stoneacre transform their exterior signage. Following some strategic changes, the company required new signage to meet their updated brand guidelines, and as a result, sought after the HG team to complete this project.
Stoneacre are no strangers to HG Graphics, the two have worked together many times over the years with HG completing so much signage for the company in this period as well as doing a lot of the fleet vehicle wraps to boot too.
The Project
‘’The objective for Stoneacre was to have a new exterior signage created and installed on their unit following an update to their brand guidelines. The goal for the signs themselves was for them to look aesthetically pleasing, for them to stand out, and also for the signs to be in proportion with one another, in other words not to ‘look out of place’ ’’ Said Gavin, Owner of HG Graphics.
Gavin added ‘’Providing a holistic, complete service for our clients is something we really do pride ourselves on, and this was no different for this client. Prior to beginning of the project, we completed a site survey at the venue before setting up the graphics and getting the visuals signed off for production.’’
Completing a site survey allows the HG team to set realistic expectations with any given customer. Outlining how the project will be completed, how long it will take and ultimately what the results will be provides the client with that extra peace of mind.
Following a consultation with Stoneacre and a site assessment, there was a clear agreement on what the best way forward was for the two signs in question.
The Result
For the vanworld-uk.com sign, the larger sign of the two, it was decided that a 7m wide Aluminium Sign Tray would be utilised which would have the vanworld logo printed. This would be applied onto a 6mm Flame polished acrylic, then VHB taped to the face of the tray.
In regard to the sign with the Stoneacre logo, this followed a very similar format. For this sign, a 5.5m Aluminium Sign Tray was used, and the Stoneacre logo was printed and then applied to a 6mm Flame polished acrylic. Likewise to the other sign, this was also VHB taped to the face of the tray.
Following the production of the signage, the installation of the Signage went as smooth as could have been hoped. Gavin, Steve, Kyle and Blaine all worked on this project, and managed to complete the install of the new signage in just one day, with the preparation and knowledge allowing for a very seamless installation of the two signs.
‘’The project went exactly to plan, and what was more even more pleasing was that the client was delighted with the results too. The feedback we got back from the client was really positive, informing us that this project really did tick every box they had hoped. From the level of service to the efficiency in the work, to the most important thing, the overall result of the project.’’
Gavin continued ‘’Completing another project for the Stoneacre team is brilliant. Holding long term relationships with our customers really is at our core as a family run business. We really do look forward to working with the company again in the future.’’
This project is yet another example of how exterior signage can be used effectively. Getting your brand out there is a real no brainer, and having a professional looking, aesthetically pleasing exterior signage can help create really positive first impressions with potential future clients or employees.
