We’re looking for an experienced Artworker / Designer to join our fast-paced signage and branding team. This is a senior, production-led role for someone who can come in and own the position, bring their skillset to the table, and actively help refine processes, improve efficiency, and raise output quality.
Role Overview
The role is heavily focused on artworking, print preparation, and production-ready files, with creative design work where required. You must understand how designs translate into real-world signage and vehicle graphics and be confident managing multiple jobs without compromising accuracy or speed.
This role is open to full-time or part-time, depending on the individual’s requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and preparing print-ready artwork for signage, vehicle graphics, fleet branding, wall graphics, and large-format print.
- Confident daily use of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Setting up production files correctly, including bleed, cut paths, scale, panelling, and print specifications.
- Creating and refining designs where required, including layouts, amendments, and brand-aligned visuals.
- Exporting files accurately for print, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Applying strong colour knowledge, including colour matching and profiling awareness.
- Working closely with production, installation, and operations teams to ensure jobs run smoothly.
- Helping refine artwork processes to improve speed, consistency, and workflow.
- Managing multiple projects in a high-paced production environment.
- Carrying out detailed checks to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency before production.
- Keeping job stages updated within the system and communicating clearly with the wider team.
- Handling basic artwork or job-related queries professionally when required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Artworker / Designer within signage, vehicle graphics, or large-format print.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of print production processes for signage and vehicle graphics.
- Confident with bleed, cut paths, scaling, panelling, and print specifications.
- Experience creating production-ready files and exporting correctly for print.
- Solid understanding of colour accuracy and consistency (colour matching / profiling awareness).
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy production environment.
- Confident communicator with internal teams.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience specifically within vehicle branding and fleet graphics.
- Ability to contribute creative ideas and visual improvements when required.
- Experience helping improve or streamline artwork workflows.

Salary
£28,000 – £34,000 per year (pro rata for part-time, dependent on experience)

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
