Since the incorporation of our company in 2007, it’s fair to say that a lot of change has happened. But one thing that has stayed consistent is the importance of vehicle wrapping to our business, and today it’s very much a cornerstone of our business here at Team HG.

This importance is underlined by our recent move to a bigger unit, which was primarily done to allow even more vehicles into our unit at once!

The nature and kind of vehicle wrap jobs we get involved in are so vast too, and in this blog, we are going to showcase this by giving you 8 awesome examples of vehicle branding completed here at HG Graphics in the last 12 months!

Xentek Motorsport

We can’t lie, motorsport wrapping isn’t something we get involved in on a day-to-day basis, but when it does come around they are easily some of the most unique and cool jobs we do!

This particular job was one we did in March of this year where repeat customer Xentek needed one of their Ginetta cars wrapping. One thing that is always consistent with motor sport jobs is that the deadlines are tight and this was no different with only 4 days to get the job turnaround (including the signing off of the artwork).

When it comes to the installation of jobs like this it’s always a little tricky as there are more curves and complexities than other commercial wraps we do but nevertheless, our team got the job done and the before and after images really do speak for themselves.

Duftons Heating and Plumbing

This project for regular customers Duftons Heating and Plumbing involved the HG team completing a full sprinter van wrap.

Branding your commercial vehicle like this is a great, cost effective way of marketing your business. Quite simply because it’s so simple, and the daily impressions you will get is likely to be north of 100,000. Over time the impact of what us marketers call ‘sticky marketing’ will only grow, so when they need a service or product you offer, they will think of you first!

The flat pannelling on this type of commercial vehicle allows for a very quick and easy install. In just one day, the van was in our HQ and back out with its new branding on, ready to hit the roads.

Scutt Potatoes

The images for this job shows you just how creative you can get with your commercial vehicle branding.

For a lot of our jobs, we aren’t given too much direction from our clients, but this was certainly not the case for Scutt Potatoes Rod and Kate. The two directors played an integral role in the artwork side of this project with a clear vision on the finished result they wanted, with an aesthetical impact an absolute must for the pair.

To make sure we got it right, we really did go that extra mile, printing off samples and staging photography that could give them a vision of what the finished job would look like. Once approved, we got to work on the 3 vans, 2 merc sprinters and 1 iveco long wheelbase, and it’s safe to say Rod and Kate were happy with the results.

Allen Fabrications

Although tippers don’t have the same scope of potential as some of the vehicle wraps we get involved in, in terms of branding potential, it’s certainly a vehicle we see often enough at Team HG HQ.

On this occasion, Pontefract based Allen Fabrications came to us wanting our services to ‘livery up’ their brand-new tipper.

Once the artwork was signed off, one of our fitters managed to complete this wrap in just a morning’s work, meaning a very quick turnaround for our customer.

Pontefract Doors Fiesta

When we talk about commercial vehicle wraps, it’s easy to assume we just mean vans and larger vehicles, but commercial car jobs is something we do get involved in and this Fiesta wrap is an example of just that.

This wrap was for Pontefract Doors, a company we initially dealt with back in 2021. Back then we created a bespoke wrap for their Long Wheelcase VW Crafter, and following a positive experience they came back to us to wrap their second company vehicle, a Ford Fiesta.

2 of our installers worked on this one, and the wrap was done inside a day.

Phillips Skip Hire

Trucks are such impressive vehicles regardless, but they can look even better with a good wrap, and this wrap looks amazing!

Unquestionably one of our favourite vehicles wrapping jobs, Phillips Skip Hire came to us in the midst of an internal rebrand of their company.

Formally known as ‘Strong Skips’ the company came to us to fully wrap their new truck with their new branding and imagery, changing from the old design, which you guessed it, we did for them too!

With minimal fuss we completed this redesign for them, and outcome was brilliant, with customer delighted with the results.

Crazy & Co

This vehicle wrap can certainly be described as perhaps ‘a little bit outside the box’, but we love it!

Crazy & Co came to us wanting temporary graphics to be applied to their hospitality trailer. Not only did we apply them, the company gave HG and more specifically our very own Laura a free reign to come up with the design, something she really does relish.

We designed, printed and installed the graphics as well as illustrating the drinks menu for the company. The speedy job was done in just two hours.

Nicely done

The diversification of vehicles we wrap really has virtually no boundaries with this trailer application showing us just that.

Regular customer Andy from Nicely Done came to the team with a change required to his vehicle graphics. As a result, new graphics were installed on both an Iveco Daily Luton Box can and a fridge trailer.

We think the vehicle and trailer are looking very smart!

This brings us to the conclusion of our ‘8 awesome example of vehicle branding’ blog. As you can see, vehicle branding with film is so flexible in terms of possibilities, and they provide such a great tool in making your vehicle more impressionable.
