HG Graphics have completed an impressive signage installation for Pontefract based Central Platform Services Ltd, whom specialise in access hire equipment.
The Project
Ahead of their unit move, CPS Lift required the implementation of signage on their new building and as a result sought after HG Graphics whom they had worked with in the past to handle this project from start to finish.
‘’Following a substantial growth, wanted came to us with a specific enquiry following a move to a new business unit which was over 20,000 sq ft, dwarfing the size of their former unit. As a result of this move, new signage was required to be installed that identified the company at its new home.’’ Said Gavin, Owner of HG Graphics.
Gavin continued ‘’With the new building being located near a busy bypass, our clients needed the signage to be seen from afar to maximise the impact and accurately represent company branding. It was also imperative that the sign should be appropriately scaled to the size of the building to ensure that the sign didn’t become lost on the building exterior.’’
The Result
To meet the goals and objectives of CPS Lift it was agreed that the dimensions of the signage would be measured at 950mm in cap height with returns of 50mm, which would be mounted with a 10mm Foamex.
It was ultimately decided that this was the best way forward as this type of signage would bring the most modern appearance, whilst bringing the best durability possible, giving CPS that extra peace of mind, whilst incurring the added bonus that no fixtures or fittings would be on show with this method.
Alongside the main signage installation on the exterior of the building, HG also produced and installed a totem sign for the entrance of the building that provided visitors and the like with further information.
Installation day itself came upon the HG Graphics team, and it went as smoothly as hoped. Gavin, Steve, Kyle and Blaine all worked on this project, and managed to complete the install of the new signage in just one day.
The team, led by Installation Manager Kyle leant on their years of experience of installing signage to ensure that no stone was left unturned when it came to application.
‘’We’re delighted with the outcome of the project; the whole install was a great experience. There is always trepidation around projects like this that something could go wrong along the way, but everything really went to plan from the initial enquiry to design, ordering, and installation.’’ Said Gavin.
Gavin continued ‘’It’s always a great feeling when your customer is satisfied with the service and product provided. Here at HG Graphics, maintaining long lasting relationships really are top of our priority list, and CPS Lift are a great example of this. They are a fantastic company, and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future’’.
This project really does demonstrate how swiftly and efficiently signage can be installed but also how effective and important signage can be for organisations.
