Halo Illuminated Signage Installation for Stoneacre Motors in Hull

Stoneacre, one of the UK’s leading automotive retail groups, approached us to design, manufacture and install a premium external sign for one of their new dealership locations. They needed a high-impact signage solution that reflected their established brand image while delivering strong visibility both day and night. The result was a striking installation using built-up halo illuminated letters mounted on a powder-coated aluminium tray, engineered for durability and a flawless illuminated finish.

Objective

Stoneacre, a prominent name in the automotive retail sector, required bold, premium signage for a new location. The goal was to create a standout external sign that delivered high visibility both day and night while aligning with their brand’s polished, professional image.

Challenge

The signage needed to be visually striking and structurally sound, with a clean installation that would hold up to external conditions. Key specifications included large, built-up halo illuminated letters mounted to a 6-meter-long powder-coated tray. The challenge was ensuring the illumination effect delivered uniform glow and crisp definition, with all components perfectly aligned across the tray’s extended length.

Solution

We fabricated high-quality, built-up halo illuminated letters, finished to exact brand standards, and mounted them to a custom 6m powder-coated aluminium tray. The tray was colour-matched and coated for durability, providing a seamless background that enhanced the floating glow effect of the halo lighting. Each letter was precision-built with internal LED modules, diffused to create a consistent halo without hotspots.

The final installation resulted in a striking piece of signage that reinforces the Stoneacre brand presence with clarity and class—day or night.
