New year, new ENews? Yeah, go on then!

The first month of the year can be a slow one for some. An opportunity to take stock and ease back into the year, right? Well, that certainly hasn’t been the case here at Team HG haha.

In true HG fashion we have been non-stop at the start of 2023, which we absolutely love by the way!

The month of January has been yet another month where we have had the opportunity to work on a whole array of projects for a really diverse set of customers. As we always tell you, no two days are ever the same here at HG.

On that note, let’s get into this month’s edition.

Allen Fabrications

It wouldn’t be a Team HG monthly ENews without talking about a repeat customer, would it?

On this occasion, Pontefract based Allen Fabrications came to us wanting our services once again to ‘livery up’ their brand-new tipper. Although the timescales meant that this job was going to be a challenge to fit in given the already busy schedule we had, we made sure that we were able to get this job done for Allen Fabrications.

Despite doing previous jobs for the company, this job was slightly different as there was a slight graphical change compared to what we had done previously. Once the artwork was signed off, one of our fitters managed to complete this wrap in just a morning’s work, meaning a very quick turnaround for our customer, and ultimately a happy one.

Renault Internal Doors

Internal doors have become a little bit of a go to of ours here at HG Surface over recent times, and this past month we have continued this theme by servicing Renault Bolton, transforming their internal doors with the help of architectural film.

Renault required a walnut finish to the doors to help meet dealership guidelines and within our architectural finishes portfolio we found the perfect finish to bring their aspirations to life. In total, we prepped and wrapped 11 internal doors utilising 42 metres of film in the process.

This wasn’t the only work we have done with Renault Bolton, having already wrapped part of the cladding in a pure white, applying just over 70m of vinyl. Prior to the application of the vinyl additional prep work was required which included filling and sanding of old holes where previous signage had been removed.

E&G Opticians

Architectural wrap brings a new perspective to opticians’ interior.

When E&G Opticians came to us with a need to reinvigorate their existing glass stands, we knew architectural film was going to be the answer. There was nothing wrong structural with the stands, buts it’s safe to say that they were looking a little ugly and definitely needed some HG TLC.

22 metres of a nice grey solid colour finish later, and the interior design was looking a lot cleaner, modern and generally just a lot more aesthetically pleasing.

They say pictures say a 1000 words. Well, we reckon these before and afters say a 1000 more! Check out E&G’s Facebook and Instagram posts on the project.

Duftons Plumbing and Heating

January also saw us complete 2 full sprinter van wraps for Duftons Plumbing and Heating, a Yorkshire company well known for their plumbing and heating services in the local area.

Over the years, the HG team have completed so many van wraps for Duftons to the point we are genuinely beginning to lose count haha! In just one day we were able to get the vans back to the clients all wrapped and ready to go with 2 of our fitters completing the installation. We even have another Duftons van scheduled into us in early February too.

It’s amazing to see how vehicle branding has developed over the last 2 decades. Today, having your brand on your vehicle is an absolute no brainer from a marketing perspective.

KIA – Sutton Coldfield

The first working day back in 2023 saw us at Sutton Coldfield to finish a brilliant architectural wrap refurbishment of a KIA showroom.

The requirement for this particular project was that Kia required the exterior of their building to be transformed from red to black. Wrapping the exterior of this showroom was ideal for the client as the process of wrapping exteriors is so seamless, with no drying time needed and it’s so quick and easy, bringing very little disruption to business. This solution also provided a truly all year-round option (applied in the wet), allowing the application of a beautiful factory finish to the building without having to rely on the not so reliable UK weather conditions.

When it comes to the refurbishment of exteriors, the process can be such a stress for property owners, facility managers and the like. Our ability here at HG to project manage the process from start to finish is beneficial to our clients, allowing them to effectively sit back and relax, really help take any stress away like it did in this project.

Other Projects

The month of January has been that busy we are unable to go into detail on all the projects we have completed! We have quickly outlined other things we’ve been up to below.

Hartwell Manufacturers

We supplied and fit decals to 2x containers Osset based Hartwell Manufacturers.

Swan Civil Engineering

Swan Civil engineering are another repeat customer of ours and for this particular job we supplied and fitted cut graphics to a Citreon Nemo and a Berlingo.

An Angel Beside you

We completed a signage project for ‘An Angel Beside You’ where we relocated old signs that we had done for them, moving them to their new shop in South Elmsall Town, including taking down old occupant signage.

Sky Pods

Once again Sky Pods rear their head in the monthly ENews with us this time wrapping the window flashing along the ceiling panel on one of their pods.

Work to come

The HG team have been planning for the future too in January with 3 site surveys completed for dealerships across the country for cladding wraps as well as prep work being completed on a showroom where we are about to wrap their cladding.

Team Updates

As you may have seen on our social platforms, we are looking to add to the HG team. Over recent months we have quickly come to conclusion here at Team HG that we really want to take our digital content to the next level, as a result, we are on the lookout for a videographer. Think this could be a good fit for you or someone you know? Please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at hello@teamhg.co.uk.

It may be January, but this hasn’t stopped some jet setting here at HG! Our very own Laura decided to trade the cold of England for the even colder Iceland for a lovely 4 nights in Iceland. To quote Laura, Iceland is ‘mint’ and would 100% recommend to anyone who is considering taking the trip over there. The fun didn’t stop there either for HG employees as Directors Gav and Natalie also managed to get a nice few days away at Centre Parcs with the little one (Harry) which they enjoyed very much.

And that’s another ENews wrap!

We hope you once again enjoyed the read. Want to make sure you keep up to date with all things HG? Please don’t hesitate to get in touch by emailing us at hello@teamhg.co.uk and we’ll make sure you don’t miss out.
