In a blink of an eye, here we are, 1 year down of the monthly ENews at Team HG!. Our mission behind starting the monthly ENews last August was we wanted to be as transparent as possible, keeping our customers up to date with all things HG, and it’s safe to say we believe we have delivered on this.

Throughout our first year of the ENews, the monthly catch up has been jam packed every single month (which we absolutely love by the way), and this month is absolutely no different at all.

Without any further ado, lets get into July’s write up.

KIA Bolton

KIA refurbishments and our monthly ENews are becoming quite the regular occurrence, aren’t they? Which you guessed it, is continuing this month too!

As touched upon in previous editions and case studies, KIA are currently undergoing a rebrand and we are helping them implement this change, transforming the exterior of their buildings from its signature red to a slick new black finish that meets the brand guidelines of the dealerships.

In true HG style, we project managed this job from start to finish, applying 18 metres of film to the exterior of the building, bringing great results that the client was delighted with.

DIY Kitchens

It wouldn’t be a monthly catch up without a local, loyal customer, would it? And DIY Kitchens are certainly that, featuring many times in the ENews already in the last year.

On this occasion, we were tasked with wrapping 10 Luton box vans for the year, with the requirement of applying different images of kitchens on both sides of the van and the rear. Managing to get a van completed every 4 hours meant that the vans were in, out and road ready in no time at all.

It wasn’t just Luton van wraps the HG team did for DIY Kitchens in July either! We even had time to complete some internal signage for the business, including H&S signs and stickers, as well as wrapping an employee of the month stand for them, which looks pretty cool.

IBIS Styles Hotel – Leeds City Centre

This project for Ibis Styles Hotel in the heart of Leeds City Centre is a job that encapsulates the utilisation of architectural film perfectly.

The initially enquiry was around bifold doors in the restaurant, which we ended up wrapping in a lovely copper finish and as you can see by the results, the doors looked incredible as a result, if we do say so ourselves haha! In all fairness, the client Raquel agreed too and came back for more, wanting the back of the bar and wine rack wrapping too.

Following a second consultation around the wine rack and bar, we wrapped these substrates in a green soft touch finish and a wood grain finish, which again, the client was delighted with.

Not only did the aesthetical results meet our clients’ aspirations, but it also saved them an absolute killing too, showcasing just how great an option architectural wrapping is in the hotel environment.

Secret Project

As always, a lot of our work involves NDA’s, and this project was no different.

This secret project involved installing graphics to a staging set for a popular artist that was doing a last minute/spur of the moment concert. The caveat was, there was such a tight deadline. So much so, the job literally came in with a turnaround time of a week (which ended up being just 2 days, as the material from the client had arrived late).

In terms of the job requirements, it involved the setup of the required graphics, cutting and applying. With the guys working away and Gav on holiday, this job ended up with Laura and Steve completing the full job by themselves, from setting the graphics up, cutting and then installing the vinyl. The pair had to come in early and work late to get the job done in time, with a lot of graft involved. It’s safe to say they were both feeling it the following day haha!

Nevertheless, in true HG spirit, the pair got the job done and even impressed themselves in the process. Although challenging, it was a great job to get over the line.

Well done team!!!

PAB Studios

No two days are ever the same here at Team HG!, and this project for PAD Studios is a great example of just that.

PAB Studio are advertising for Stoneacre (again, another company who are no strangers to the monthly ENews) and as a result required a 6m x 3m banner advertising. With minimal fuss, 2 of our team hopped over to Rochdale to complete the install.

Another happy customer.

Other Jobs

The month of July was such a jam packed one for the team, we don’t have time to talk about every job we’ve done in detail because otherwise, you’ll be here reading this all day.

Nevertheless, we do want to make some honourable mentions to firstly URM Group, who we installed a new entrance sign for at their Doncaster site.

Wilson Carpets are back on the HG books, this time for an absolute whopper of a job, where we are installing signage at a brand new Lincoln store (more on that in next months edition).

We have even been working on some new tractor unit wraps for a long term customer of ours which is still ongoing, so likewise to the Wilson Carpets project, keep your eyes peeled for more on that soon.

Flex face signage installed to a retail outlet.

Team HG! News

July is very much holiday season in the UK, and it has been very much that for our team. Gav, Nat and little Harry have been up to Edinburgh in the new Camper, enjoying a nice week up north and even got lucky with the weather up there (some how!!!).

From Scotland, we go to good old Magaluf next, which is where young Blaine has been, enjoying two weeks in the sun with his partner and mates. He did say he was a broken man when he was back though, after enjoying perhaps one to many beers at times haha!

Not all the fun has been out of England though for our staff, Laura went to see ‘Cloudbusting’. For those who are wondering who that is, they are a Kate Bush tribute band whom Laura absolutely loves and described the event as just the best birthday present.

The lads (Gav, Kyle and Steven) continued their tradition of taking their bikes round Sherwood when the weather wasn’t too bad, which they love to do when possible.

There we have it, that wrap ups yet another ENews and a very special one in that. We really do enjoy looking back every month and it sounds like you do too, with us having some great feedback over the last year.

Don’t worry, the ENews will be back for many, many more editions. Here’s to the next one!
